Leon Henry agreed terms with Jets

Manawatu Jets (NBL) inked experienced 37-year old former international 200cm forward Leon Henry (college: S.Idaho JC, agency: BIG). He played last summer at Bulls. In 17 New Zealand games he recorded 9.5ppg, 10.7rpg, 1.6apg and 1.8spg.
He was a member of New Zealand international program for some years. Henry was called to New Zealand Senior National Team between 2006 and 2012 and previously for University National Team back in 2007.
He has played also professionally in Australia (Townsville Crocodiles, Ballarat Miners and New Zealand Breakers), Romania and New Zealand (Lakers, Nuggets, Saints, Porirua and Huskies). Henry won Australian NBL championship title in 2012 and 2013.
He graduated from College of Southern Idaho in 2006 and it will be his 18th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
